WHO ARE YOU?/ I'm Paige Poppe and I am an artist. My career finds me doing many things; painting, dreaming, designing, filming and editing videos, developing new products, and installing art to name a few! My mind is always running with ideas, and I am so grateful to be able to put them out into the world. I am also a traveler, collector, and love a good workout to trap music.

WHERE DO YOU BELONG?/ In the sunshine!

WHAT IS YOUR "WHY"?/ I aim to spread positivity, light, joy and creativity with my work. I feel very grateful to have these gifts, and want to share them and encourage others to share theirs as well.

HOW DID YOU GET HERE?/ Art making became a more regular practice for me while I was still in architecture school at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo, California. I started sharing my work online while I was a student, and it evolved from there. At first it was more casual, but I decided I wanted to pursue being an artist more seriously in the summer of 2014. I didn't plan for it to become my career, but the passion and excitement for it consumed me, and I knew it couldn't just be my side hustle. So I hustled even harder to make it my career!

IF WE WALKED INTO YOUR LIFE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DAY, WHAT WOULD SE SEE?/ You'd find me with a paintbrush and cappuccino in one hand, and my camera in the other hand. I am always Snapchatting or filming a vlog while I paint, so it's a scene of multi-tasking for sure. I'll also have my headphones in, listening to a good podcast. Right now I'm loving The Jealous Curator and Girlboss Radio. I wish I could say I was dressed super stylish, but to be honest I am in workout clothes a lot. Nothing is more flattering than yoga pants!

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR PIECE OF ENCOURAGEMENT?/

"If you pursue your creativity, your life will always be prosperous."

I found it in a fortune cookie many years ago and it has always stuck with me! I find it to be so true.

WHAT DO YOU DO TO STAY INSPIRED?/ This might sound odd, but sometimes if I just sit down and think about how cool the world is, and that there are people everywhere working hard + creating new things, it really inspires me to keep creating.

BIGGEST QUIRK?/ I think people I'm pretty composed, but I'm actually a super goofy person. Like, I'm clumsy, can't think of a comeback to save my life, and tell really silly stories.
